At Seabourne House in Bournemouth, we’ve gone all the way to make sure that our facilities enable us to look after those in our care as effectively as possible. From ensuring that people eat healthy, nutritious meals to providing them with clean clothes and bedding, your loved ones will want for nothing.

Our housekeeping team work hard to ensure clothes and bedding are constantly kept clean in line with the strict requirements set out by leading care bodies.

Using a special laundry detergent called OTEX, we make sure that all micro-organisms including bacteria, yeast, fungus, moulds and viruses are irradiated in every wash; meaning the environment at Seabourne House is kept as hygienic as possible.

All clothing is tagged with identifiable buttons, so we recognise which garments belong to whom. Once clean and dry, all washing is ironed and put away by our support team.

Please note that all dry cleaning is carried out by an external company upon request. The cost of dry cleaning isn’t included in the fees.
